My name is Beata and I am an English and Polish-speaking therapist in Berlin.
My path to psychotherapy started years ago when I was still an engineer and scientist. Working as a volunteer for an organisation helping people in crisis in Aberdeen, I realised that this is what I wanted to continue doing in my life.
What inspires me most about helping others is the possibility of inner transformation when faced with life challenges. I believe that what is most important in the healing process is learning to accept even the most flawed of our sides.
I provide integrative psychotherapy, which is based on integrating different psychotherapeutic approaches and adapting the therapy to the patient and his/her specific problems. The most common approaches I use are cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic and gestalt psychotherapy.
I also have been a mindfulness practitioner for the last 15 years and a certified mindfulness teacher. My therapeutic approach combines the latest knowledge on mental health and secular aspects of Eastern traditions.
